Christopher Sosa Behind Bars After Nearly Running Over an Officer on Monday
Christopher Sosa was arrested by the APD Repeat Offender Special Investigations Unit (ROP) and APD SWAT just after midnight.
Sosa was wanted on felony warrants including armed robbery and auto theft. He fled a SWAT scene earlier in the week when he sped through a perimeter, attempting to hit an APD officer in order to escape.
Undercover ROP Detectives tracked Sosa via investigative a surveillance techniques to a residence on the 600 block of San Pedro NE. After a brief SWAT standoff, Sosa surrendured. Sosa was found uninjured.
Sosa is being held without bond at the Metropolitan Detention Center and is now facing additional felony charges including aggravated fleeing and auto theft in connection with the incident on Monday night.
