Rompiendo el Silencio (Breaking the Silence), 2005, Mexico-U.S, 12 min., Spanish with English subtitles Mas Chulo Shorts, 2006, Mexico-U.S., 14 min., Spanish with English subtitles.“Rompiendo el Silencio” tells the story of Afro-Mexicans in their own voices by exploring issues of visibility, communal history, and oral traditions. “Mas Chulo Shorts” are musical interludes inspired by a meeting of Black townships in Mexico’s Costa Chica.
