Specials are being offered by Animal Welfare and PetSmart Charities®
Each spay/neuter blitz is a month-long national campaign. They're aimed at animals with the highest risk of being euthanized because of overpopulation: cats, kittens, puppies and pit bull terriers.
Each campaign surgery has a $20 co-pay and is available to all residents of Albuquerque. All residents must mention the promotion when making appointment. Limited availability.
Four month-long campaigns:
- “Happy Neuter Year.” Start the New Year off right by neutering dogs and cats in January.
- “Beat the Heat.” Get ahead of feline heat season with this February campaign to spay pet female cats.
- “Precious not Parents.” In June, it’s safe and easy to sterilize puppies and kittens under 6 months old.
- “Primp Your Pit.” Fix and primp pit bull terriers with free nail trims during this August campaign
With the help of PetSmart Charities, Animal Welfare has made it possible for all pet owners in Albuquerque to afford spay and neuter services. We’re grateful to PetSmart Charities for its dedication to the welfare of homeless animals.
