A Girl Scout Troop Helped Animal Welfare Department Sheltered Pets

The Girl Scouts did a great job in collecting much-needed items for the shelter.

During spring break, Girl Scout Troop #10391 collected pet food, and treats and made 19 pet beds and 23 toys for the Animal Welfare Department sheltered animals.

The girls were given a tour of the shelter and were able to walk away from the shelter with an appreciation for sheltered animals, pet care, compassion and lifelong humane ethics for all living creatures.

The Girl Scouts did a great job in collecting much-needed items for the shelter. The animals, staff and volunteers are very grateful for their support.
