Fourth stray of Christmas

12 Strays of Christmas - Macho has been adopted.

Albuquerque Animal Welfare reminds you to always spay or neuter your pets.

ID#A1679355 - Macho is a sweet 8-year-old male, tan smooth coated Chihuahua mix. Macho tends to be shy at first.  It takes him a little time to warm up but once he gets to know you, he’ll show you that he has a great personality. Macho would be a terrific addition to a quiet home with people who enjoy good company. You can find him at Lucky Paws in Coronado Mall.

Albuquerque Animal Welfare Department will introduce a new pet each day through December 24. Each pet featured in the “12 Strays of Christmas” comes with the special adoption fee of just $12. These pets will be featured on our web site and Facebook page.

The $12 adoption fee includes spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchip, follow up call with an Adoption Counselor to make sure your new pet is adjusting well, a goodie bag with coupons and some toys from Petco.

If you are interested in making one of these adorable animals a member of your family, contact 311 or visit our web site www.cabq.gov/pets
