Description

The Albuquerque Animal Welfare Department is offering free spay/neuter surgeries for cats only and will be taking reservations for surgery dates. Cats must weigh at least 2 pounds to undergo the free service. Reservations for Albuquerque residents will be available for two days. Cat owners are reminded that they should not bring their cats when making a reservation. The dates listed below are the dates for making a reservation not for performing the surgery.

Friday, February 24, and Saturday, February 25, to make your reservation.

Time: 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. on both days.

Taking reservations only at the Eastside shelter. Must come in person to the shelter to be placed on the reservation list. 311 will not be taking reservations over the phone.

*Albuquerque residents only and bring proof of residency.
