Mayor and First Lady’s Paw-lynesian Dog Ball 2016

Tickets Are Available

 Tickets are available for the Mayor and First Lady’s Paw-lynesian Dog Ball that is sponsored by Clark’s Pet Emporium. The annual pet-friendly event which supports the Animal Welfare Department’s commitment to improving adoptions, spay/neuter, education and saving the lives of the animals in city shelters.

  •  The Polynesian Dog Ball theme will take place on the evening of Saturday, September 10, at the Albuquerque Marriott, 2101 Louisiana Blvd. NE.
  • Individual tickets are $100, with a table of 8 at $750, with the proceeds going to Albuquerque Kennel Kompadres, the fundraising partner of Animal Welfare. Order your tickets on line by going to http://kennelkompadres.org/DOG_BALL_2016.html
  • The event will offer a “Yappy Hour” starting at 5:30 pm, with a special doggie treat bar, drink bar and musical entertainment by Lenin and McCarthy. The dinner, catered by Albuquerque Marriott, starts at 6:30 pm.
  • Vegetarian and vegan dinners will be offered at the event on request.
  • People are encouraged to bring their canine best friends, who also will be entertained by the
  • Ka La Kapu Polynesian Dancers. There will be a raffle, door prizes, gift bags and pet venders too.
  • Kristen Currie, KRQE News 13 Weather Forecaster will be the emcee. A silent auction also will be running throughout the evening. Dress is business casual, or don your favorite floral print shirt or grass skirt.
