Description
The Albuquerque Animal Welfare Department is hosting a fee-waived dog adoption drive to find loving homes for adult dogs, at least 1 year old. Animal Welfare will launch the campaign with an event on Friday, Sept. 7, through Sunday, Sept. 9, at the Eastside and Westside Animal Shelters. People will be able to meet the dogs and talk to an adoption councilor to get assistance on finding the dog that will fit their family.
During the event, Animal Welfare will waive the fee that is typically charged for adopting dogs, while keeping all other adoption policies in place, including thorough match-making procedures.
