The Albuquerque Animal Welfare Department is hosting a Dog Days of Summer with a 75% off the adoption price to find loving homes for adult dogs that are at least 1 year old. Animal Welfare will launch the campaign with an event on Thursday, July 18, through Sat., July 20, at the Eastside, Westside, and Lucky Paws Animal Shelters. People will be able to meet the dogs and talk to an adoption councilor to get assistance in finding the dog that will fit their family.

During the event, Animal Welfare will reduce the fee that is typically charged for adopting dogs, while keeping all other adoption policies in place, including thorough match-making procedures.
