On Sunday, Nob Hill once again will be the site of one of the most colorful pet-related events of the year, the 4th Annual Barkus Parade.

It’s a dog and owner event; where dogs and their humans dress-up in matching themed attire and strut their stuff for the judges to compete for prizes from local, Nob Hills businesses. Activities begin at 2:00 PM on Sunday, April 17th at the Monte Visit Christian Church parking lot, 3501 Campus Blvd NE in Albuquerque. This year's theme for the parade will be "Hairy Pawter and the Sorcerer's Bone."

The event is held yearly in conjunction with the City of Albuquerque’s Animal Welfare Department.

There will be food, live music, and a lot of fun both for people and their canine companions.
