Frequently Asked Questions

Where can I buy tickets? You can buy them here on a secure website with a credit card with no service fees. You can also go to Kennel Kompadres website.

Can I bring my dog? Absolutely. That is what it is all about!

Can I bring two dogs? Sure, why not? More than two? Well there's really no limit; just what you and your dogs think you can manage. This is a sit down dinner and space gets a little tight.

Can I bring a pet other than a dog? Sorry, no. This is a people-and-dogs-only event!

Will there be someone to take my dog for a walk? Yes. Girl Scout Troop 1623 and their advisors will happily walk your dog and make sure it has plenty of water. There'll be tons of treats on the tables. No one goes home hungry!

What does the money go for? Proceeds from the Dog Ball go towards a spay/neuter fund so the Animal Welfare Department can do more spayings and neuterings and fix the problem of too many pets without homes.

If I can't attend the event, can I still donate? Cash donations and donations of auction items are joyfully accepted.

Is my tax ticket deductible? Yes, $75 of each $100 ticket is deductible for tax purposes.

I understand the Cooperage is catering the dinner. Is there a vegetarian option? Yes. Just ask your server.
