Centrally located in Albuquerque's Uptown, Jerry Cline is one of Albuquerque's premier public tennis facilities.

Court reservations are required and can be made by calling the facility directly.

This facility consists of 17 tennis courts and 1 championship court.

Lighting is available on 13 courts.

A ball machine is available for $10 per court hour.

Jerry Cline also offers a variety of programs including instruction, leagues, junior development, novice groups, tournaments, and drop-in tennis.

Reservations

Reservations are accepted two days in advance. Weekend reservations are accepted on Thursdays. Courts may be reserved by telephone or in person.

Drop-In Tennis League

Drop-In Tennis is informal, friendly tennis play sponsored by the City of Albuquerque and run by the Jerry Cline Recreation and Tennis Center.

  • Minimum intermediate skill level is required to qualify, determined by the Drop-In Coordinator.
  • Juniors are generally not permitted, with exceptions.
  • Cost is $5 per person; tennis balls are provided.
  • All participants are expected to abide by the full Drop In policy.
  • Arrive early to insure a spot.

Morning Drop-In on Tuesdays & Thursdays

Evening Drop-In on Mondays & Wednesdays

Please arrive early to insure your spot.

  • Players sign in at 6 p.m.
  • The first round begins as players arrive on a first come first serve basis.
  • The last to arrive may have to begin with singles or the ball machine or not get in at all.
  • Players have a choice of playing one, two, or three rounds.
