Draft Environmental Monitoring Report Released for Public Review and Comment


The City of Albuquerque is releasing a Draft Environmental Monitoring Report, Thursday October 30, 2014 for public review and comment.

*The official comment period for citizen input on the draft Environmental Monitoring Plan and Baseline Date Report (SWCA, 2014) has been extended until December 15, 2014.


The Rio Grande Valley State Park, Central to Montano Project: Environmental Monitoring Plan and Baseline Data Report, was prepared by SWCA Environmental Consultants over the past year. The study was conducted to determine existing conditions within the Rio Grande Valley State Park and Bosque to evaluate whether any proposed actions within the project area could result in predictable or detectable environmental change. These actions are necessary for the City to responsibly manage human use and ecological conditions within the State Park and Bosque.


Electronic copies of the draft monitoring report are available. In addition, hard copies will be available at the Main Library and the Griegos Library. Details will be announced when they are finalized.
