Description

Stephanie Kaylan, founder and president of the Wanagi Wolf Fund, a not-for-profit 501(c)3, has been working to help get stricter laws passed to stop the breeding of these animals.

Stephanie has been active in Wolf & Wolf Dog rescue since 1994 and has been nominated for the New Mexico Milagro Award for Animal Protection.

The Wanagi Wolf Fund is named after her canine Wanagi who died of lymphoma.. Wanagi is Lakota for ‘the one who guards and protects the spirits of those who have passed onward.’ I want him and his name to live on, to do good, and to save lives.”
