Take a step back in time – learn about those who lived in this region 800 years ago, the Europeans who traveled through, and how their interactions shaped history. Archaeologist Matt Schmader will relay the most current interpretations of the artifacts both cultures left behind. Schmader will first discuss the archaeological context of the Coronado expedition and then lead a tour of the unexcavated Piedras Marcadas pueblo.  You must register to be guaranteed a seat.

Modern-day Pueblo potters will also be on site, demonstrating and selling their wares.
