John Fleck, former science writer at The Albuquerque Journal and current writer in residence at the University of New Mexico Water Resources Program has published many books, including The Tree Ring Tales: Understanding our Changing Climate. In this presentation, Fleck speaks about our beloved river under stress, as we try to do too much with it. Can we find a way forward that meets the community's needs while respecting the river and the open space around it on their own terms?
