Back by popular demand, Daryl Ratajczak, Wildlife Biologist, will present this fascinating lecture on the intricacies of the food weed. The food web consists of many levels of organisms from producers to herbivores to predators. Learn how the slightest of alterations to this precious web can upset the balance of all within and literally change entire landscapes.

Trophic Cascades – Like water tumbling in a cascade, its course is changed if one rock falls out of place. Nature is quite similar in its complexity. Remove one component from nature’s web and the course of its evolution may be significantly impacted. Join in on an open discussion and learn about examples in nature where the loss or addition of one single species has literally altered entire landscapes.
