Every Fall, the Maize Maze attracts thousands of visitors to Rio Grande Community Farm. All new to the maze this year is a new sort of entertainment for the Albuquerque area, mixing live outdoor attractions and audience participation with a foundation in storytelling. The result will be a suspenseful adventure which audience members are carried through and become a part of, like an action movie come to life. The story extends upon the amphibian theme, however, to become something entirely of its own. This special haunted maze was developed in partnership with the Public Academy for Performing Arts and local area filmmakers.
Moonlight Maze Hours
One half of the maze will not be haunted and will be open on Oct. 27 & 28 for the moonlight maze. You will be able to navigate the maze by the light of the moon.
