- Kick off summer with a local food demo, a garden tile ribbon-cutting, and a “planting passport” launch! Under the shade of the apricot tree in our Traditions Garden, you will enjoy learning how to make healthy summer snacks while admiring the beautiful new tiles made by local artist Cirrelda Snider-Bryan. The Visitor Center and other partnering agencies will also be launching their planting passport that takes you to each of seven sites along the Rio Grande that grow plants for people and wildlife. Complete the passport and win a prize! It’s a great way to keep learning and growing this summer.
