Every winter, hundreds of people sharpen their machetes and march to the town square in Oaxaca, Mexico. They gather not for an insurrection, but for an intense afternoon of competitive radish carving. We won’t have a match or a machete on site here, but we will have a guided workshop on how to safely carve these interesting tubers into works of art. It’s fun for the whole family of 8+ year olds. Space is limited, so please pre-register at 897-8831.
