Put on your apron and get ready to paint the town and its surrounding landscapes red.  Using onions, cherries, cochineal beetles, and other natural ingredients, we will concoct a collection of dyes and then create love landscapes or notes to nature.  In this workshop, you will learn what plants and minerals to mix and mash into paints and how to apply them on paper to create basic landscapes.  If you love nature and art, this is the workshop for you.

It's fun for the whole family aged 6 and older.

The Open Space Visitor Center also boasts a kids’ room, gallery, media room, exhibit areas, and a series of trails for enjoying nature at its finest.
