Coyotes in our Midst – Learning to live with North America’s Native “Song Dog”

WHAT: An informational lecture about coyotes in an urban environment

WHERE: Open Space Visitor Center; 6500 Coors Blvd. NW; located between Montaño Rd and Paseo del Norte at the end of Bosque Meadows Rd.

Join us on September 6th for a special coyote presentation by Judy Paulsen, New Mexico’s Project Coyote representative, and wildlife biologist Justin Stevenson of RD Wildlife Management & Consulting.

Rowdy, the ambassador dog will be in attendance as well!

  • Coyote ecology & biology, including the role coyotes play in different ecosystems;
  • Common causes of negative human-coyote encounters;
  • Strategies for reducing negative human-coyote encounters & human-coyote coexistence strategies;
