Visitor Center hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Tuesday – Sunday
FREE: Many programs are free, Fee-based programs include a donation to the Open Space Alliance, a non-profit organization supporting educational and other programming related to Open Space.
The Open Space Visitor Center is home to river access trails, sustainable agriculture that provides habitat for a wide range of wildlife, demonstration gardens illustrating ancient and historic arid farming techniques, a dynamic art gallery, a kids’ activity room, and galleries interpreting the many facets of our public lands. Come and explore.
A mosaic tends to be a collection of tiles or glass pieces of various size and color organized into patterns or forms. These artists, inspired by Aldo Leopold’s “Land Ethic” will exhibit work that seeks to “enlarge the boundaries of the community to include soils, waters, plants, and animals, or collectively: the land.”
