Description
In the Visitor Center’s Kids Activity Room. As part of the Textile Journeys/Textures of Earth Memory exhibit, the Open Space Visitor Center and the Española Valley Fiber Arts Center present this interactive exhibit on the tradition of weaving Churro wool. The Navajo-Churro breed of Northern New Mexico is a special breed of sheep producing unique fibers. The Open Space Gallery is free, and is open to the public Tuesday- Sunday, 9am-5pm.
