The Albuquerque riverside forest is home to coyotes, western spotted skunks, badgers, long tailed weasels, raccoons, porcupines, beavers, muskrats, desert cottontails, rock squirrels, deer mice, white-footed mice, kangaroo rats, pocket gophers, desert shrews and silky pocket mice.
Come early, walk quietly and be guided by our naturalist. You may spot a mammal, a bird, some native wildflowers and get a sense of the forest as a whole.
Bosque Wild takes place the first Sunday of the month, every month.
