ABQ Open Space Spring Cleanup: Route 66 Open Space

In December 2010, the City of Albuquerque added 66 acres to its Major Public Open Space system. Formally named the Route 66 Open Space, the property protects a portion of the Tijeras Arroyo near Four Hills. In 2011 volunteers began the process of restoring this natural treasure. Join us for a volunteer trash clean-up of this unique property and help protect the important natural resources found here! 
Please bring the following:  Work gloves, Water, Appropriate clothing, Sun protection, A sack lunch, Sturdy shoes (no sandals)
Parking is limited, so please carpool!

Donated morning refreshments are provided!

Directions:  Take the Tramway/Central exit on I-40. Head south on Tramway and take NM 333 (the old Rt. 66) east. Drive east approximately 0.6 miles. Parking for the event is on the right, just past the Believers Center of Albuquerque.
