As a compliment to the “No More Stories” exhibit, we invite two experts from the University of New Mexico Museum of Southwestern Biology to introduce the current research as it relates to species decline and issues of human encroachment on amphibian habitats.

Mason Ryan’s work has ranged from general biodiversity and endangered species surveys to species responses to climate change in Honduras, Costa Rica, Panama, and the United States. His interests include aspects of ecology and conservation regarding amphibians and reptiles and how these taxa are tolerating a rapidly changing world.  J. Tom Giermakowski’s work Museum of Southwestern Biology, University of New Mexico focuses on Herpetology, Conservation Biology, Ecology.
