Open Space Seeking Volunteers to Adopt "Mutt Mitts"

Receptacles help keep dog waste out of natural lands

Dog waste in our Open Space lands is always an issue, but you can help! The Open Space Division is looking for volunteers to adopt Mutt-Mitt stations - receptacles that dispense small bags for proper disposal of dog waste - at the following areas of the Foothills:

1. Monte Largo and Rover NE (on the East and West sides of the streets)

2. The end of Rebonito and Camino de la Sierra NE

Responsibilities include restocking mitts and emptying trash cans when full. Open Space will supply the trash bags and mutt mitts and will drop off the supplies to volunteers as needed.
