A celebration of music, food and fun along the "Mother Road" in Historic Nob Hill.
On July 20, 2013, from 2:00-10:30 p.m. Central Avenue will be filled with live music and entertainment, a car show, shopping, kids' activities, The Mother Road Market, food, Cork & Tap- Beer and Wine Garden, and more! The event will span one mile of Central Ave. This FREE event will make for a great day with the whole family.
Avoid having to park. Park and take the Rapid Ride from Wynona and Tramway, and the Uptown Trasit Center on the East Side. On the West side use Unser and Central, and the K-Mart on Atrisco and Central. Please note, this is not a Park and Ride service, you will need to catch the Rapid Ride from the bus stop.
ABQ Ride will be adding extra Rapid Ride stops for the Route 66 Summerfest to make your commute event easier.
On the westbound route, there will be a stop at Central and Adams as well as Central and Girard. On the eastbound, at Monte Vista and Dartmouth and Central and Jefferson. Rapid After Dark will be running until 1:00 to make sure you make it back to your car after a great day of fun!
