WHAT: A Celebration of Open Space, urban agriculture, local food, and community with music, fun, workshops, and more!
WHEN: September 19th, 2009, 9am-5pm
WHERE: Open Space Visitor Center, 6500 Coors Blvd NW. The Visitor Center is located east of Coors at the end of Bosque Meadows Rd, which is between Montano and Paseo del Norte.
COST: FREE
Open Space is proud to be a part of Albuquerque’s agricultural heritage, and for the second year we’re celebrating with a unique event for the whole family.
WORKSHOPS AND TOURS :
11:00am-Noon.
(1pm-2pm)*Space is limited for these workshops. Pre-registration is highly recommended. Call 897-8831.
MUSIC!
Enjoy live music on the grassy lawn overlooking our 24 acre working farm/wildlife preserve.
(12:30-1:30pm)Please note: Workshop and music schedules are subject to change.
FOOD:
Delicious food will be available to purchase, or bring a picnic lunch to enjoy on our grassy lawn. Graze booths from local farmers and businesses.
Additionally, there will be activities for all ages including the Rolling River interactive watershed model, arts and crafts for the kids, and more!

BOOTH SPACES FOR 2010 EVENT
Interested in having a booth at this year's event? A limited number of free booths are available for small farmers and organizations involved in promoting local agriculture and natural resources preservation. A few booths are also available for artisans and food vendors. Please call 452-5216 for more details.
