MAKE A DIFFERENCE DAY 2008: Date and Activities to be Announced

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 27, 2007

8:30 AM – 12:30 PM

The Nicodemus Wilderness Project and the City of Albuquerque, Open Space Division will be working with volunteers at Piedra Lisa Open Space (drive to east end of Candelaria Rd., take a right onto Camino de la Sierra and it’s the first left) to do these projects:

• Trail building, rehabilitation, & soil erosion control.
• Native habitat restoration & side trail closures.
• Litter cleanup & graffiti removal.

FREE T-shirts (must RSVP) and refreshments will be provided!

Trail tools, equipment, and water will also be provided.

Volunteers should dress in layers, wear sun protection and hiking boots, and bring work gloves.
