Neighborhood Association Conference

Mayor Chavez and top city officials will host neighbors for a morning of communitywide networking, best practices and informative break-out sessions, during this year’s Neighborhood Association Conference. The conference will be Saturday, June 6th from 9:30am-Noon at the Albuquerque Convention Center West Building. The conference is open to every one, please reserve your seat in advance by calling 311.

Agenda:

• 9:30 - Neighborhood networking with refreshments.
• 10:15 - Mayor Chávez will welcome the conference and will participate in Q and A.
• 11:00 -Break out sessions, there are three to choose from. The first to choose from will be about the Development Review Board, Environmental Planning Commission and Zoning Hearings Process. The second will be about land use, zoning, and building codes and their enforcement. Last will be how to start a neighborhood watch and neighborhood patrol program.
