Buying tickets online is a great way to get your tickets any time of the day or night and without standing in line. You choose the ticket type, pay for it and then print the tickets at home. Best of all, purchasing print-at-home tickets is simple and easy to do.
What do I need to purchase tickets online?
(Please note: Dial-up connections will result in much slower speeds.)
Print-at-home tickets work in much the same way as buying other kinds of tickets online such as concert, airline or hotel tickets. Follow these instructions:
1. Click the Buy Tickets Now! link below to go to the Ticket Sales web page.
2. Choose the ticket and quantity that best suit your needs.
3. Confirm your quantity and price.
4. Pay with either Visa or MasterCard.
5. Finalize the sale.
6. Check your email – you will get two emails. The first will be a purchase confirmation, and the second will be a message with a link to your tickets.
7. Print your tickets. A ticket may be printed multiple times, but only the first ticket that is scanned will be valid.
8. When you visit the event or attraction, bring the printed tickets with you. We will scan the tickets and you will be admitted.
If you experience problems, please email the Admissions Supervisor at museum admissions.
You must prove the identity of the person who bought the tickets with a photo ID and provide either the printed purchase confirmation or the ticket number. Contact the Admissions Supervisor on arrival.
What if I paid for tickets but did not receive an email or could not print my tickets?
You should receive two emails--a purchase confirmation and a link to your tickets--within a short time. These two emails will come from an address ending with @cabq.gov. You may want to add this domain name to your safe senders list. If you do not receive the emails, be sure to check your spam or junk mail box. Other delays could be due to problems with your Internet connection or service provider.
If you receive the emails but have trouble printing tickets, be sure to either print your purchase confirmation or write down the ticket numbers. You will need this information and a photo ID to redeem the tickets.
If you experience problems, please email the Admissions Supervisor at museum admissions.
Can I change my tickets after purchasing them?
Valid online ticket purchases may be exchanged for comparably priced tickets by visiting cashiers at the admissions desk of the Museum.
Tickets for general admission do not expire and are valid for any day that the Museum is open to the general public. Tickets for special events (such as exhibition openings or lectures) will be marked with a specific date and are valid only for that date. Tickets for special exhibitions may be accepted at times other than the times for whch they were purchased. However, this will be on a space available condition and at the discretion of the Museum.
