Gifts In-Kind

The gifts in kind program is designed to provide agencies in need of donations that will help to support their operational capacity and infrastructure needs, such as office supplies, furniture, computer hardware and software, and more.

MOVE serves as a liaison between donors and agencies in need and will assist in connecting the two parties.  All donations are tax deductible and greatly appreciated.  If you are interested in making an operational capacity and infrastructure donation, please contact MOVE at 505-767-5815, dsaine@cabq.gov.  To donate other items, please see available community locations in the table below.

Family Treasures Thrift Store, 6431 Gibson S.E., is is need of the following items: kitchen cabinets, storage shelves, plywood, sheetrock, storage shed, clothes racks, and a computer for Internet sales. If you can help out with any of these items, please contact Debbie Harrington, ecodash@yahoo.com


Recover, Renew & Restore, a prison re-entry program located in Los Lunas/Valencia County, is in need of Quickbooks for Nonprofits computer software. Contact: Renee Davidson, rdavidson@swcp.com, 505-865-5500

 

Backinuse.com is dedicated to helping New Mexican's with disabilities get the equipment they need either for free or at very little cost. If you have a piece of adaptive equipment sitting around post it to the site - so we can make sure it gets Backinuse! If you need something, we also want you to post that to the site so we can help meet your need. To donate, sell or purchase equipment go to http://www.backinuse.com/.  You can also contact Lorie Pacheco Gulley, lorie.gulley@state.nm.us, 505-954-8529.

Jewish Family Service of New Mexico, 5520 Wyoming N.E., 291-1818 *Give operational vehicles to families that cannot afford transportation.

The following agencies accept furniture, clothing or household items:


St. Vincent De Paul, 714 Fourth S.W., 346-1504 *Will pick up furniture that is in good condition

Salvation Army, 6821 Academy Pkwy. N.E., 872-1171 *Will pick up furniture that is in good condition


The Storehouse, 106 Broadway S.E., 842-6491 *Accept clothing and household items such as kitchenware-no furniture
