Veterans Day is a time when America pauses to honor its military veterans. Join us in thanking all veterans who have served the nation with distinction.
The 2011 Veterans Day Ceremony in Albuquerque will focus on World War II veterans. This year marks the 70th anniversary of American's formal entry into World War II.
The ceremony also will recognize those New Mexico veterans serving abroad who have made the ultimate sacrifice since Memorial Day.
U.S. Rep Martin Heinrich (D-N.M.) will serve as keynote speaker.

- 9 a.m. - Veterans Day Parade departs USS Bullhead Memorial Park
- 10 a.m. - A patriotic musical performance begins at N.M. Veterans' Memorial Park
- 11 a.m. - Albuquerque's Veterans Day Ceremony commences.
Veterans Day Parade Route
The annual Albuquerque Veterans Day Parade steps off at 9 a.m. Nov. 11 at USS Bullhead Memorial Park.
