December Town Hall Presentations- The Rio Grande Vision & 50-Mile Loop
The Rio Grande Vision and the 50-Mile Loop are a part of Mayor Richard Berry's ABQ the Plan. The Vision's goal is to bring the Rio Grande more into the daily lives of residents and visitors to Albuquerque. The 50-Mile Loop's goal is to connect gaps in our trail system to create a 50-mile loop and to increase tourism and a healthy lifestyle throughout Albuquerque.
The City held Town Hall meetings in December 2012 to share concepts on the Rio Grande Vision and the 50-Mile Loop plans. The meetings were held at the Rio Grande Nature Center State Park on 12/4 and a the City of Albuquerque Open Space Visitor Center on 12/5.
