Albuquerque- Neighborhood Association Presidents have all been invited to meet with City of Albuquerque staff, directors, and the Mayor. Neighborhood Presidents from all corners of the city will have the opportunity to talk with Mayor Richard J. Berry in face to face meetings on Saturday, July 21, 2012, starting at 8:30am at the Albuquerque Convention Center West.
"This is an opportunity to bring together public servants to discuss our community as a whole," said Mayor Berry. "I’m looking forward to listening to the valuable input of our community leaders."
Much like the community meetings coined, “Chat with the Mayor," the Presidents who RSVP’d to the invitation will be given limited timeslots to meet with City Directors and the Mayor, in order to accommodate all participants. This event is in keeping with Mayor Berry’s pledge to inspire community involvement.
The Mayor will be available for media interviews directly following the meetings, at 12pm.
