ALBUQUERQUE—Today, Mayor Richard J. Berry announced the appointment of Dana N. Feldman to head the City’s Cultural Services Department. She has assumed that role as a transition for the retirement of former Director Beatríz Rivera, who served as the department’s director since 2009. Rivera will provide consultation and project management until her retirement becomes effective in mid-January 2016.

“Our entire department is looking forward to working under Dana’s leadership,” Rivera said of her colleague. “She has been a strong force in maintaining high levels of professionalism in all that we do to serve the residents of Albuquerque by providing a wide variety of cultural experiences for all ages and interests,” she added.
