Alamosa Community Center People to People A Forum for Solving Problems
On Saturday, Oct. 18, City Hall is coming to you! We are going to Alamosa Community Center.
“I am bringing City Hall to your neighborhood, to hear and better address your concerns,” said Mayor Chávez. It is what the Mayor calls “People to People,” a way of bringing your city government directly to the citizens of Albuquerque.
Alamosa Community Center People 2 People and Tree Give Away

- 10 a.m. to noon.
- Alamosa Community Center Gym
It will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Alamosa Community Center gym. The center is locater at 6900 Gonzales Road, SW. Come have one-on-one time with top city executives from the Chief of Police to the Transit Director, from the Parks and Recreation Director to the Director of Planning and Zoning. In fact, every department director will be on hand!
Also please join Mayor Chávez at the fall tree give away, just outside the Alamosa gym. The City of Albuquerque Parks and Recreation Department in partnership with Tree New Mexico will give away trees to increase tree canopy in residential neighborhoods and citywide.
Trees save you money by reducing your energy costs, increase property values, and cleaning the environment. All tree species are approved through the City, low water use, and primarily large shade trees and some small trees.
