A $250 Million Dollar Business
Mayor Chávez was happy to announce last week that the film industry has brought $250 million in direct spending in to the Albuquerque economy over the last five years. But the best news of all we could see $150 million in direct spending this year alone.
"This just continues to be a huge win-win for the city and the state," said Mayor Chávez. The biggest film to be located here is the fourth installment of the Terminator series, which has a budget of over $150 million.
