Comic-scripting 101 @ North Valley Library
How is writing a comic book or graphic novel different than a film script? Join writer and artist Shirl Sazynski to find out what can be learned about scripting comics or graphic novels from animation and film. Ms. Sazynski has been nominated as a poetry writer with an honorable mention in The Year's Best Fantasy and Horror 2008.
This session covers the basics of script format, and you'll learn to: "think like an artist" by breaking down solid text into easily interpreted panels, write a plot summary, and create character bios and draw basic thumbnails for pacing.
