Computer training is available at the following libraries. Call ahead for more information, to register for a class, or arrange for a tutor.

 

Computer classes:
You must be able to use a keyboard and the mouse. For most classes, you need a SmartCard, which you must have before you register. Space is limited, call the individual library for schedules.

Computer Classes @ South Broadway Library

Internet Basics. Learn about the Internet and the World Wide Web.This class will provide basic instruction on what is a web browser, how to check a web site, basic searching and printing.

Word Basics: Need to write a paper, letter, or other document? This class will help you get started using Microsoft’s WORD. Learn about the WORD environment, the taskbars, the toolbars and basics of this tool. Wednesday 10/7 and Thursday 10/8, 8:30-10:00 AM (two-session class)

Advanced Word:Have you been using Word and just need some help with Tabs, Columns, and other more. Wednesday 10/21 and Thursday 10/22, 8:30-10:00 AM (two-session class)

Excel Basics: Need to create a financial spreadsheet tabulate other data? Learn about the Excel environment, the taskbars, the toolbars and basics of this tool.
