Exhibit: Three Hundred Years of Albuquerque History
January 29 - September 6, 2008 @ Special Collections Library

300 years of Albuquerque History logoThe Special Collections Library presents a large compilation of images and documents about life in Albuquerque from its founding in 1706 up to modern times. This exhibit, created to celebrate the city's Tricentennial, was assembled from treasures in the collection of the Center for Southwest Research at U.N.M. Library. Exhibit creator Nancy Brown Martinez has provided the community with a new opportunity to view this remarkable presentation of Albuquerque's history.

Sandie is an Albuquerque photographer with a degree in fine arts.  She is pleased to share her New Mexico photos - a couple taken in Santa Fe but the others all taken in Albuquerque's North Valley.  Seasons, holidays, colorful, and not so colorful she hopes you will enjoy them.

Thoughts: Amanda uses a variety of paper, collage, and mixed media to capture an artistic viewpoint of how beautiful the most simplistic thought can be.

Come take a practice ACT test and receive a score report from Omniac Education. At the follow-up session, students (and their parents) will learn about test structure, scoring, what scores means to colleges, as well as some quick ways to improve scores.
