Most of the events that take place at the KiMo Theater are created, presented or produced by various individuals, community and private organizations that rent the KiMo Theatre. These persons or organizations are known as the 'Presenter' or 'Producer'.

The Presenter; selects, hires or creates the event, sets the performance days/times and admission price(s), staffs the event, pays for all goods & services needed, and receives the ticket revenue.

To help prevent some of the problems created by the release of incorrect information, upcoming events are not posted to our Performance Schedule page until sufficient information about them has been confirmed in writing by the event's Presenter.  Join our mailing list to receive notice of recent changes and additions to our schedule.

Most of the Presenters that rent the KiMo are local non-profit organizations, some are commercial Producers.  Some of the events at the KiMo Theatre are presented by the Keshet/KiMo Partnership, an agreement between the City of Albuquerque and the Keshet Dance Company.

Additionally, some events taking place at the KiMo Theatre are presented or sponsored by the City of Albuquerque's Cultural Services Department, which manages the KiMo .

The name of each event's Presenter is posted in our Performance Schedule listing for that event, and when available, is a link to their webpage.

The KiMo Theatre Administrative Staff supervises the financial and technical operation of all events, maintains the building and it's equipment and provides some technical and ticket services as requested by the Presenter, but does not hire performers or touring acts, or create or 'present' the events and shows that take place here.
