Cultural Services and the Department of Senior Affairs presents "Selected Treasures"
Raven

Art Reception: March 1 from 6 P.M. - 8.P.M.
The exhibit is in direct reference to Edgar Allan Poe’s famed poem the “The Raven.” Eighteen stanzas are the main structure of the poem. 18 artists were invited to create work for the exhibit. Each artist received a canvas board and one of the stanzas from the poem. Each artist created a work of art on a horizontal format (18” x 24”) based on the stanza they received.

An exhibit of contemporary printmaking
This curated exhibition highlights prints by current and former graduate students and a professor of art education at the University of New Mexico whose work in traditional and alternative printmaking techniques encompasses solar gravuere, photo polymer, copper etching, lithography, and linocut. The print makers include Monique Belitz, Jennifer Conn, Helen Cozza, Kelly Eckel, Jane Gordon, and Laurel Lampela.
