Ambercare seeks volunteers for hospices services.
This is an opportunity to visit patients receiving hospice services and provide both friendship and companionship. Volunteer activities may include holding a hand, visiting, reading, or taking a walk. Hospice patients live across the city either in an Adult Living Facility or with a loved one. Volunteer services are provided where the patient lives and driving to location is necessary. Comprehensive and on-going training is provided so our patients, their families and our volunteers feel ready to provide this heart-felt services.
