The Barrett Foundation is a homeless shelter for women and children. The following volunteer opportunities are available:

Child Activities Volunteers
Need child activities volunteers that "engage" children in activities while their mothers are attending life skills classes at our shelter. The times needed are: Sundays from 10:00am-noon; Wednesdays from 7:00-8:30 pm; Thursdays from 6:00-7:00 pm.

Painters
Painters needed to paint five residential units and a hallway wall at the Barrett House Shelter.

Professional Letter Painter
Need a professional lettering painter to paint our name and phone number on our donation truck.

Yard Maintenance and Clean-Up
Yards on our properties for homeless women need clean-up and occasional maintenance. Immediate needs are tree branch pruning along sidewalks that are eye-level; bush removal; general clean-up.
