GEARS & GLAMOUR is a high class event that will feature fashion runway models and Harley Motorcycles....... A Great social event to raise funds for Ability Connection New Mexico. Assistance is needed in Set up, registration, parking, greeters, stage set up, vendor services, breakdown & cleanup.
ABOUT OUR ORGANIZATION:
Ability Connection has been providing comprehensive services and support for children and adults with disabilities for the past 59 years and we're proud to have expanded our services to the Albuquerque community! We're one of the most fiscally responsible nonprofits around, with 87 cents of every dollar going directly to programs and services! The mission of Ability Connection is to provide a full range of services for people with physical and intellectual disabilities as they strive to achieve their highest level of independence. Here in Albuquerque, we provide the following programs and services:
• Assistive Technology, providing assistive technology and giving a voice to those who cannot speak
• Public education, offering seminars and awareness programs to increase community knowledge of the needs of people with disabilities
• Information and Referral, information in English and Spanish for anyone with questions about programs, resources, and support for people with disabilities.
