In an effort to create a healthy worksite culture, the following guidelines for healthy food at office celebrations were developed with employee input:
1. Make colorful fruits and vegetables half of all food offerings.
2. Offer smaller portions of foods.
3. Offer foods low in solid fats, added sugars, and sodium.
4. Offer more whole-grain foods.
5. Make water more available.
6. Consider eliminating unnecessary snacks, such as candy dishes.
Tools to Implement the Guidelines
Flyers and posters, plus 13 themed potluck sign-up sheets for about 20 employees
Simply print a potluck sign-up sheet in color, ask employees to sign-up for an item, and post where employees will see it prior to the event!
Customize the potluck by replacing any item in the form prior to printing.
