Is 2018 the year to reduce your stress?  We sure hope so!  And to best support you in this important mission, CABQ BetterHealth is offering an 8-week program in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction.  Learn all the critical tools of mindfulness and meditation with mindfulness expert Michelle DuVal, MA, of The Mindful Center as she takes you through a clinically proven program in stress reduction.  If this is the year to finally sleep better, lower blood pressure, manage weight, reduce worry and anxiety, or just to learn how to more skillfully reduce your overall stress

Resiliency Training

An evidence-based training to build resilience, well-being, and optimism. This strengths-based prevention program will equip individuals with a set of practical skills that can be applied in everyday life to strengthen an individual’s ability to overcome adversity and challenges, manage stress, and thrive in their personal and professional life. 

  • Increases well-being and optimism
  • Reduces and prevents depression, anxiety, and conduct problems
  • Improves physical health

Instructor Michelle DuVal, MA, is the leading provider of mindfulness trainings in the Southwest.  Her popular and effective programs are also offered to employees at Sandia National Labs, UNM, Presbyterian, and APS.  Michelle is the director of The Mindful Center and has taught thousands of people the invaluable skills of mindfulness for health, healing, and stress reduction.
